CUBA/U.S.: THIRD BETRAYAL

THE “REAL” INTERESTS TOWARDS CUBA WERE MANIFESTED YESTERDAY BY THE CURRENT PRESIDENT WHO FINALLY DEFINED HIMSELF ON THE CUBAN POLICY STATING SOME OF THE RULES CONTAINED IN AN ORDER THAT IS NOT NEW, BUT CONVENIENTLY UNDISCLOSED BEFORE THE ELECTIONS.

Please do not make the mistake in believing that it would be different depending on the political party, it is not so. For years, powerful corporations that prefer to deal with tyrants for greater profits have been manipulating the government of the United States. The reputation is well earned: money is the only priority.

Yesterday’s words from Pres. Bush that Cuban-Americans are not permitted to participate in a transition, (with the only exception to send money), and that only Cubans in the island (unarmed and defenseless), are to choose their future, actually means that the regime will dictate the people's future and that the United States will preserve the Totalitarian regime in a similar format.

This unfortunate and rhetorical statement by the President reminds Cubans of the Kennedy/Khrushchev's pact with these results: ANOTHER BETRAYAL TO CUBANS.

BETRAYAL by Kennedy - Bay of Pigs Invasion. BETRAYAL by Kennedy - Crisis of October & Pact with Khrushchev.

The offensive words of the U.S. President clash emphatically with what ALL Cubans want: LIBERTY FOR A SOVEREIGN CUBA, FREEDOM for the political prisoners, transition to a democratic system of government, national elections with independent candidates, the abolishment of the communist Constitution, and the restoration of the 1940 Constitution with Amendments that will safeguard the country of ever falling prey to totalitarianism.

Although the United States President is placing the brakes on the FREE WILL of the Cuban Exile Community, we as FREE Cuban-Americans reserve the right to exercise our honorable obligations at this crucial time.

FREEDOM & JUSTICE are the priorities of the Cuban Exile Community, not the reclaiming of their stolen properties in Cuba, as shamefully stated by the President.

Mr. Bush's remark was insensitive and far from the truth, giving credibility to the communist propaganda that viciously slanders Cuban exiles.

Regarding Honorable Mel Martinez, Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Mario Diaz-Balart, Ileana Ros Lehtinen. What do these Gov. Representatives have to say now on this issue?

Will they clearly define themselves FOR or AGAINST this policy?

Their response would be greatly appreciated.
